Work commences on Croydon Road Pedestrian Safety measures

It has been a long time, but work is finally starting on the pedestrian safety improvements requested by the community way back in August 2017 along Croydon Road as a result of my 12 October 2017 Notice of Motion

To the Resident

Croydon Road, Croydon (Parramatta Road to Elizabeth Street)-Traffic Management Works Ally Civil has been appointed by Inner West Council as contractor for the project and they will begin reconstructing the proposed traffic facilities on Monday 28 October 2019 (weather permitting). They will take approximately 1 month to complete the works. The work zones are
highlighted as below:

Traffic and parking will be restricted during the construction hours. Traffic control will be in place to allow vehicles and pedestrians through the work zone.
