Annandale to the Sydney Fishmarkets via Harold Park

Today's COVID-19 walk was to the Sydney Fish Markets which are due to be demolished with new fishmarkets built on an adjacent site. Sydney Water was also "Naturalising" Johnston's Creek. Sydney Water July 2020 Newsletter: "Johnstons Creek naturalisation We’re transforming Johnstons Creek into a natural waterway. Construction update Demolition work and installation of sandstone blocks is underway. Work is progressing slower than expected due to recent rain and the high waterflows within the creek, however we’re still on track to complete the naturalisation project by mid-2021...." Today's morning walk in Annandale. History and Nature Remembering the Green Bans, which saved Annandale in the 1970s and fighting Westconnex in the 2010s. Verge Planting Pepper Trees Federal Park.
