We are asked that, to understand the "Rum Rebellion", we need to understand the Sydney of the day and Europe of the time. Checked out White's Creek Catchment in the rain with a few long time residents including an 82 year old who was born at the Private Hospital where the Leichhardt Bolo is and moved to where she lives now when she was 1. She has seen a few changes and people come and go. Ferris Lane looked fabulous! The new lintel in Ferris Street seemed to be working well - residents have worked with council to make this happen along with cleaning out nearby drains and gutters. Evan Jones Playground had a tree down. And a few other trees need mulching. Water was flowing out of the grate where Styles Street crosses White's Creek and different drivers approached the puddle. The 150 year old salt glazed pipe was still working too! Photos and Videos at https://www.instagram.com/p/CMvolNkD2Pb/
