“Synchronicity” duo exhibition! at Chrissie Cotter Gallery

with  Reiko Azuma and her work

“Synchronicity - interconnectedness of all things” 3-17 September 2023

Duet Exhibition by Amy Jones and Reiko Azuma.

Our busyness of domestic life, it can be difficult to take a moment to notice one’s surroundings.

This exhibition attempts to pay homage to the infinite possibilities of the microcosms of our immediate world.

Together we celebrate the wonderment, boundless hope in the unfathomable.

There is an enormity of hope that can be taken from the micro, and encouragement can be found in the infinite possibilities of the everyday encounter.

Jones and Azuma trust in organic momentum, becoming lost in the process of interacting with light, shadow, colours and lines.

with Amy Jones and her work

This affirms that happiness and creativity is never far from all of us. It can be found in this moment as we strive to practice "appreciation and openness".
